1987 Chevrolet Astro Custom
This 1987 Chevrolet Astro short wheelbase van has been transformed into a performance-built custom that blends the classic Astro profile with modern engineering. Finished in two-tone metallic blue and gray, the exterior features a 1995+ front end conversion with all-new components, Cadillac taillights, and a smoothed, streamlined appearance. The van rides on Corvette C6 alloy wheels with new performance tires and utilizes a Belltech 5-inch suspension kit for its lowered stance.
Power is provided by an all-aluminum 5.3L LS V8 that is a 100% brand-new build, paired to a new 4-speed automatic transmission sourced from Summit Racing. The engine setup includes a Stage 2 camshaft, aluminum intake, ICT Billet accessory drive, and Holley Terminator X Max ECU and harness. Cooling is managed by an aluminum radiator with a Spal electric fan, and the drivetrain has approximately 20 hours of runtime since completion.
Inside, the custom interior is equipped with gray cloth bucket seats, a matching rear bench, a Grant GT-style steering wheel, custom center console, and auxiliary gauges. Woodgrain side panels complement the restored finish throughout. A new Seal Skin vehicle cover is also included.
Originally restored and completed by a previous owner, this LS-powered Astro offers modern performance and drivability in a distinctive custom platform.

All persons participating in a TAWA auction agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, which shall form a binding contract between the participants and TAWA:
FEES: 10% Buyers Premium is applied to all items purchased. If you are a Washington State resident we will collect all license and registration fees along with a $200 negotiable documentation service fee. Out of state customers will have a $60 temp and transfer fee added to your vehicle purchase along with a $200 negotiable documentation service fee. There is a 3.5% surcharge on all Debit and Credit card transactions.
We do our best to estimate the license and registration fees with guidance from the State. If we over collect on these fees a refund check will be issued. Our checks expire 90 days from the date of issuance. In the event that a check issued was lost, misplaced, destroyed or is expired, the payee may request a replacement check. Trucks and Auto reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the lost check and the payee’s claim. A nonnegotiable replacement fee of $40 will be charged for each replacement check and will be taken out of amount payable before the check is reissued. If the dollar amount of the check is less than the replacement fee, then the check will not be reissued until you pay Trucks and Auto the replacement fee. A dormancy fee of $5.00 per month will be charged for each check that is expired or not otherwise cashed within 90 days, if the check was not reissued (a “Dormant Check”). You agree that Trucks and Auto may use the moneys you are owed to pay itself the dormancy fee without further notice to you. You will not be charged a reissuance fee if Trucks and Auto already paid itself the dormancy fee. If the dormancy fees exceeds the dollar amount of a Dormant Check, then Trucks and Auto may, in its sole discretion, reduce the dormancy fee to the dollar amount of Dormant Check and pay itself the funds in full satisfaction of the dormancy fee.
